World Nursery Rhyme Week
World nursery rhyme week was founded by Music Bugs and launched in 2013. Music Bugs is a company specialized in interactive, sensory, singing and music class for babies, toddlers, and children to promote the importance of nursery rhymes in their early stage of childhood development and learning.
Nursery rhyme week is aimed to promote the importance of nursery rhymes in early childhood.
Nursery rhyme week encourages the use of songs and rhymes to develop their vocabulary, language and skills (literacy, social, emotional and physical). It also encourages children to have interest in developing their skills by making learning fun. It forms part of a child’s cognitive development.
Rhymes helps children learn numbers, alphabets, objects, animals easier. It enables children develop their imaginative skills through images they create in their head whenever they sing a rhyme.
