Hey dear, How's your weekend going? Every first Thursday in the month of November is National Make Dinner Day. So yesterday was National Men Make Dinner and i was just curious about beliefs and perception about men cooking so decided to share my thoughts with you. Before i share my thoughts, I want to know your take on men cooking? Do you see it as a nice gesture, a taboo or a responsibility for men to cook also. In some part of the world like Nigeria where i come from, certain culture/ tradition(s) belief it is not right for a man to cook or even step his feet in the kitchen. Such traditions belief it is totally inappropriate for a man to engage in any form of kitchen chores. In fact it is seen as a taboo because they are the head of the house. Women are believed to be the caretakers of the home, who look after the children, prepare meals, shop for household groceries and clean the home.
