Hey dear,

Phewww..... It's been a minute away from this app. Really wanted to take a little break because this year is about to get really busy and engaging for me.

Ending of last month, I really felt down and discouraged about a whole lot of things. But, I have a goal to be consistent on this blog this year and have a lot I want to achieve this year so, "no excuses" no matter the circumstances, challenges your girl is going to come through. I've picked my self up and here I am.

I do hope am not late to say 'Happy new year". Permit me to wish you a "Happy new year" and "Happy new month " . I pray for God's blessings, favour, grace, wisdom and guidance in all your endeavours in good health. I hope the holidays were great for you and your loved ones admist the pandemic.

I have nothing much to say today, just wanted to see how all my dearies stepped into the new year and how you all are doing.

Before I sign out, I want to encourage you to focus on achieving your goals don't be discouraged, intimidated or scared. Don't feel it's impossible or feel your standards are too high. Trust me my plans scare me a lot and the feeling is ineffable just thinking about it but, I know what I want. I love to achieve my goals in great ways, getting/ giving the best results in a unique way. So am not going to lower my standard for anything.

Break boundaries, step out of your comfort zone. Let's make 2021 great. We can make it happen and we will make it happen.

WORLD DAY OF THE SICK

February 11 is World Day of the Sick, founded by Pope John Paul II on 13th May, 1992 as a way for believers to offer prayers for those suffering from illnesses and their caregivers. The Pope was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease 1991 which was later confirmed in 2001. It is believed that his illness was the drive for him picking this day. On this day, people from around the world pray for the sick and their caretakers who work to relieve the pain of the sick.  Faith organisations mark this day by providing food, medicines, and spiritual guidance to the sick. Prayer is one of the greatest way we can show our love to people we care about. We pray to also stand in place for those who are weak, unable to pray for themselves or in hard/difficult situations.   What is Emotional Health Awareness Day?  Family Links was established on the 24th of February 1997. This Center was created to encourage, teach and guide relationship skills through schools, families, and the wider community they found themselves in.  Now 25 years after and the first Emotional Health Awareness day(EHAD) also known as Emotional Health Day (EHD) is launched. Marking this event is to invite everyone to sit, think and talk about their emotional health in their place of work, school, family, and also how they can support others by developing awareness.
